Tottenham Manager Thomas Frank Calls Vicario Booers 'Not True Real Supporters'

Tottenham Hotspur fans who jeered goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario were told later "they can't be true Tottenham supporters" by boss Frank.

Spurs let in two goals in the opening initial moments to fall 2-1 to Fulham, marking their 10th Premier League home loss of the year.

However the main talking point was Fulham's next goal when Vicario lost possession far outside his area.

Tete had handed Fulham a early advantage prior to Wilson's goal – with Kudus netting for Spurs in an improved second period performance.

Ex- top-flight keeper Hart remarked that the next goal was "totally preventable".

"I certainly understand the fans' disappointment," Hart continued. "I know the role Vicario is performing. He's a great squad member, he's a real figure in the locker room but in the end you are going to be judged by your actions.

"The keeper was heavily involved in what turned out to be the winning score."

"That score was a error of my own, I take responsibility for it," he said.

"I'm a big man, how can I respond?" he continued. "The team can't be influenced by the circumstances in the crowd. The fans have the entitlement to do as they see fit.
