This comeback of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked immense excitement within the fandom. From the gradual unveiling of fresh additions before the game's launch, to trainers developing firm views on the entire roster of Mega Evolutions, there's a lot for enthusiasts to anticipate.

Given many of the Mega Evolutions showcasing unique appearances that highlight their personalities, one thought came to mind: How can link this with astrology? The following is based on a mix of intuition, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.

Aries – Mega Camerupt

Much like an captivating, gregarious Gemini, it's incredibly easy to envision Super Medicham captivating an entire Wild Zone with their tales. This Pokémon's Pokédex entry also mentions its ability to predict an enemy’s future actions, which seems quite like a socially-savvy Twins.

Cancer – Mega Manectric

Cancer is widely regarded as the most emotional member of the astrological wheel, a passionate symbol famous for frequently getting absorbed in their feelings. Per the official info, Mega Evolution charges the creature with a “huge amount of energy, but it's too much for this Pokémon to completely manage,” which seems a lot like a classic Crab crash-out. This Pokémon is also recognized for its capability to create a thundercloud over its very self – and if there’s one thing a Cancer is likely to do, it’s rain on their good time.

The zodiac symbol famous for being charmingly critical is clearly reflected throughout this creature's entire lineage, from a perpetually shocked face like a Virgo when you inform them you don’t have a 401(k), to its inverted face that’s just like the emoji a Maiden sends to the group chat when all says they want to “go with the flow” rather than creating a strategy.

The Scales – Mega Audino

Observe this gentle, empathetic being, who uses the feelers on its ears to detect how people are feeling by their heartbeat. Consistently empathetic – occasionally to a detriment – and trying to maintain the peace, there are many Libras who would probably benefit from Super Audino's abilities. Though, to be frank, it would probably just make them stress even more about others.

Scorpio – Mega Banette

This Ghost-type is a Pokémon with a unexpectedly tragic backstory: Abandoned as a doll, it gained sentient through pure resentment and vowed retribution on its former owner. Per the Pokédex, Super Evolution, “enhances its vindictiveness.” That sounds exactly like many discussions I’ve had with my scary Scorpio acquaintances. A Scorpion adores cosmic justice and retribution, making them the ideal match with Super Banette.

The Archer – Super Hawlucha

Both Super Hawlucha and Sagittarians are always putting on a show. As a Archer myself, the amount of times I’ve referred to myself some version of a “playful little entertainer” is countless. The showiest and most obnoxious Super Form, its description even mentions how it “poses to display its strength.” I would do the very same thing if I had some kind of Mega evolved form, making Super Hawlucha the most fitting Archer match I can think of.

Capricorn – Super Absol
