On Monday, the tribunal learned communication data and evidence obtained from phones documented Ms Wandelt repeatedly asking Madeleine's mother for a biological test throughout the past two years.

Madeleine's disappearance in 2007 - at the age of three during a vacation in Portugal - is one of the most widely reported investigations and continues to be open.

'I Do Not Need Money'

Another phone message, played in court, documented Ms Wandelt stating: "I know I'm fat and not pretty like Madeleine had been, but I feel what I feel."

While another instance of Ms Wandelt's recordings with Mrs McCann's recording expressed: "Imagine there is a slight possibility that I'm her? What happens next? Isn't that significant for you?"

"I am not seeking money, I have a living here in Poland, I simply desire to discover," the message continued.

The tribunal was advised that by means of emails, text messages and phone calls, Ms Wandelt demanded a biological test, forwarded youth pictures to her phone in a bid to demonstrate a similarity to Mrs McCann's vanished daughter, and claimed to have "recollections" from a youth with the McCanns.

Robert Jones, an intelligence analyst with the police force who gathered the information, informed the court there "showed no any answers" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt furthermore reached out to acquaintances of the McCanns, based on the phone records.

On that date, the father picked up a communication from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, stating she had "incorrect contact information."

On that occasion Ms Wandelt deposited a recording on Mrs McCann's recording declaring "I will persist and I plan to establish my point."

The court heard Mrs Spragg established a association via internet with Ms Wandelt prior to assisting her on a appearance to the McCanns' home in that area in that winter.

Communication data demonstrated Mrs Spragg had communicated using WhatsApp to Mrs McCann to say the media had portrayed Ms Wandelt as "a crazy person" but that she deserved to be taken seriously in the time before the trip to Rothley, that area, in last December.

The court heard communications between the two individuals, in November 2024, considering endeavoring to acquire Mrs McCann's DNA samples from her trash or from utensils at a restaurant.

"We must assert ourselves," the co-defendant told Ms Wandelt.

On the night of the trip to their residence, Mrs Spragg dispatched a communication which said: "We're currently sitting near the McCanns' house with our headlights off like detectives. I wanted to accomplish this with Peter Andrew I hadn't anticipated I would be doing that with the McCanns."

The trial ongoing.
