Amazing $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Is a Online Gaming GM's Dream

After a brief run back in April, this cartography software collection has returned for a limited time that lasts until Dec. 2. Hailed as an extensive collection of mapping tools created by a specialized software company throughout their history, the entire collection is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. Primary Feature

The standout feature is definitely permanent access for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard mapping application that can be used to create everything from fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, urban layouts, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, yet it provides new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Intermediate Package

The eight-item bundle for at least $15 offers enhanced value through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from the company's long-running monthly subscription service featuring multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions covering cartography techniques.

At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly an even better deal for cartography beginners considering you even get introductory guides to facilitate learning. The sole limitation though the purchase is available on any platform, the software is only usable on Windows.

Philanthropic Aspect

As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. For this one, that's Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally through education, health care, and emergency relief.
